Race-day shuttle service to provide convenient transportation between airport and Indy 500 on Sunday, May 29

INDIANAPOLIS—Indy 500 fans looking for a fast way to get to this year’s race will have a convenient option on race day at the Indianapolis International Airport. Whether arriving on a flight or taking advantage of a special parking rate at the airport garage, racegoers will be able to catch a continuous shuttle service between 8 a.m. and noon on Sunday. Return trips will run for three hours after the race ends; shuttles will also be available for early departures.

Shuttle passengers who park at the airport garage can obtain a $10 rate by showing a race ticket stub to the cashier when exiting. Without a stub, regular rates will apply ($18 daily maximum).

The shuttles will be provided by the Free Enterprise System and Star of America Motor Coach Companies in partnership with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Tickets, which cover roundtrip transportation, are $24 per person.

From the airport, shuttles will depart from the ground transportation lobby in Zone 1. Returning shuttles will depart from the main east gate parking lot on the southeast corner of 16th Street and Polco Street.

Tickets can be purchased at the Star of America booth or online at www.indy500parking.com or www.freeenterprisesystem.com. May 26 is the last day for online ticket orders.
