Brian Moore is a ceramic artist Influenced by both the diverse achievements of past cultures and the entwined history of ceramics and mankind. He seeks to merge the two into objects of function that connect with our contemporary era and aesthetic. He is interested in both Eastern and Western design traditions, as well as elements of nature, can be seen in the work.

About the Artist: Brian Moore was born in South Bend, Indiana and received his B.F.A. and M.A. degrees in Ceramics and Art Education from Ball State University. He has lived and maintained a studio in Indianapolis since 1991 and has exhibited widely throughout the Midwest for the past thirty-five years.
