Be Worth Imitating

Category: Temporary

Andrea Smith, an east side Indianapolis photographer and graphic designer, was selected for our Temporary Collection with her ongoing project Be Worth Imitating. The exhibition is comprised of nine portraits of children imitating accomplished Indianapolis African-American men such as Police Chief Richard Hite and Justice Robert D. Rucker. According to Smith, her work highlights these positive role models and encourages future generations to make a significant impact, wherever life leads them.
