Indianapolis Airport Authority and Downtown Indy, Inc. partner with Vibenomics

Indianapolis-based startup to provide audio marketing within the Indianapolis International Airport and along Georgia Street

Indianapolis, Ind. (August 7, 2018) – The Indianapolis Airport Authority and Downtown Indy, Inc. have partnered with local audio marketing technology company Vibenomics to create engaging audio experiences for visitors as well as local residents at two of the city’s cornerstone locations—the Indianapolis International Airport (IND) and Georgia Street.

Dubbed “Project High Note,” this collective partnership will create an all-encompassing, engaging environment for visitors through music and real time messaging. “Indianapolis International Airport Radio” will greet visitors when they land in Indianapolis with custom welcome announcements and event information. As guests and locals alike stroll along one of the city’s most prominent urban, outdoor public spaces, “Georgia Street Radio” will continue the customized experience, providing relevant, personalized messaging.

“We’re always striving to connect the 8.7 million passengers that come through our airport with a world-class customer experience, and Vibenomics enhances that opportunity through music and information, and showcases the innovations coming out of our Indy tech community,” said Mario Rodriguez, executive director of the Indianapolis Airport Authority.

“More than 500,000 residents, visitors and downtown workers attend events on Georgia Street each year, and thousands more traverse it as a dynamic conduit connecting the Indiana Convention Center, Circle Centre mall, many great bars and restaurants and Bankers Life Fieldhouse,” said Bob Schultz, senior vice president of marketing and events for Downtown Indy, Inc. “Partnering with Vibenomics now allows us to provide outstanding audio entertainment with a local operation of professionals. It really is the perfect vibe!”

Downtown Indy, Inc. is also participating in Vibenomics’ advertising platform, the Vibe On Network, providing them with the ability to showcase local businesses and organizations on their custom radio stations.
