FAA Approval of a Finding of No Significant Impact Concerning Electric Bus Acquisition at IND

The Federal Aviation Administration has issued a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for proposed Federal actions at the Indianapolis International Airport, Indianapolis, Indiana, to purchase two to three (2-3) new electric powered buses and install charging infrastructure. The FONSI indicates the proposed Federal actions are consistent with existing environmental policies and objectives as set forth in the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 and will not significantly affect the quality of the environment.

Copies of the environmental decision and the 20 17 Environmental Assessment (the background data on which the decision is based) are available for public information review at the following locations.
