Auntie Anne’s Pretzels lands once again at Indianapolis International Airport
INDIANAPOLIS – The wait is finally over for airport passengers and employees craving soft pretzels at the Indianapolis International Airport (IND). Auntie Anne’s, the world’s largest international franchisor of hand-rolled soft pretzels, now has a location at Gate 10 on Concourse A. Opening in response to countless requests from the traveling public who once enjoyed Auntie Anne’s at the old IND terminal, the new store will open daily at 5 a.m.
Customers who visit IND can enjoy selections from Auntie Anne’s full menu, including a variety of pretzel flavors and dips, Pretzel Dogs, Pretzel Stix, signature lemonade flavors, and Coca-Cola beverages. The company’s portable Pretzel Nuggets, available in Original and Cinnamon Sugar flavors, are ideal for a grab-and-go snack at the airport.
The new Auntie Anne’s franchise at IND is owned by Cielo Taub. Though she owns a chain of airport candy shops called Natalie’s Candy Jar, this is Taub’s first Auntie Anne’s store.
The Auntie Anne’s brand was born at a farmer’s market in Downingtown, Pennsylvania in 1988. From humble beginnings, Auntie Anne’s has expanded to more than 1,180 store locations in 22 countries. The company opened its first airport location in Pittsburgh in 1992. Current locations include some of the nation’s’ busiest airports, such as Hartsfield- Jackson Atlanta International Airport, Chicago O’Hare International Airport, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, and Washington Dulles International. It also operates internationally at airports in Honduras and Thailand.
Auntie Anne’s prides itself on offering fresh-from-the-oven products by mixing, twisting, and baking pretzels to golden brown perfection in full view of customers.
