Tenley Drescher-Rhoades joined the Indianapolis Airport Authority as its General Counsel in the spring of 2019. Tenley has been a practicing attorney in the Indianapolis area for nearly two decades. For the last fifteen years, Tenley has counseled Indiana cites and municipalities representing their interests, leading negotiations, documentations and closings of economic development, corporate financing and municipal financing transactions. She has been involved in negotiating complex contracts, lease agreements and land acquisitions necessary for project financing. Tenley has also advised private businesses and government officials in identifying and negotiating local economic development initiatives, including bond issuance, TIF financing and tax abatement.
Tenley is a graduate of Butler University and the Indiana University Maurer School of Law. Tenley is married and has two sons. In her free time, Tenley supports her boys at their many school and youth sporting events, volunteers for the PTO and enjoys the tranquility of gardening.
